What constitutes an antique? Well in simple terms anything that is fairly old (50years +) and is rare could be considered an antique.
Obviously there are many factors which will effect the ability for an item to fetch a good price. For example:- Is the item in good condition? Has the item any markings to identify the original manufacturer or artist? And of course the approx age of the item.
When it comes to art however, things are slightly different. Art is more of a metter of opinion. Sometimes "modern" art sells very well. Why not give us a call to discuss!
